Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM, Jawi:ونيۏرسيتي كبڠسأن مليسيا ) is a Malaysian public research university established on 18th May 1970 and based in Bangi, Selangor. The Bangi Campus which is the main campus houses the university's administrative offices, 9 faculties, 9 residential colleges and 8 research institutes while the Kuala Lumpur Campus houses Chancellor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital (HCTM), UKM Children's Specialist Hospital (HPPKK UKM), 4 faculties, 2 residential colleges and 1 research institute. Among the famous research institutes at UKM are KITA-UKM, IKMAS, ATMA, UMBI and INBIOSIS.

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is one of five universities that coordinate research in Malaysia. UKM is the 160th best university in the world following the QS World University Rankings conducted in 2020. It is also ranked 98th in the 100 best new universities established in the last 50 years in the world.
