Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Laut (disingkatkan kepada TNI-AL, dalam Bahasa Inggeris "Indonesian National Military-Naval Force") is the naval branch of the Indonesian National Army. It was established on September 10, 1945 and has the responsibility of patrolling Indonesia's long coastal areas, to enforce and patrol Indonesia's territorial waters and exclusive economic zone (EEZ), to protect Indonesia's strategic maritime interests, to protect islands throughout Indonesia, and to defend it from threat of sea attack. It has around 126 warships of various classes and types, making this force one of the largest naval forces in terms of membership among Southeast Asian countries.

The Navy is led by a Chief of Staff (abbreviated to Kasal). This force is also strengthened with three main fleets known as the "Armada", which is Commando Armada I (Headquarters 1 Armada) located in Jakarta, Commando Armada II (Headquarters 2 Armada) located in Surabaya, Commando Armada III (Headquarters 3 Armada) located in Sorong , and a Military Sealift Headquarters (Military Seaborne Command). The Navy also leads the Indonesian Marine Corps.

All ships in the TNI-AL fleet carry the prefix KRI which means Ship of the Republic of Indonesia (Republic of Indonesia Ship).
