Sekolah Kebangsaan Bayas or SK Bayas for short, is a Primary School located in Kedah. Sekolah Kebangsaan Bayas was established in 1948. This school is located in Kampung Bayas. Bayas is a type of tree that is abundant around this village. The original name of Sekolah Rakyat Bayas. The original school had a nipah roof, round wooden poles and bamboo walls. The school trip was managed by Cikgu Shahidan bin Saidin and Cikgu Zainon bin Bulat while Penghulu Mukim was the Head Teacher.

In 1952, the government took over by building a new building and renamed it Sekolah Kebangsaan Bayas. A total of 9 members of the AJK were appointed consisting of village people with a total of 103 students. In 1958 the wooden building was changed to a stone building.
