Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia or shortly PERADI is one of the legal professional organizations for advocates in Indonesia, based on Law Number 18 of 2003 concerning Advocates, which was established on April 7 2005 at Balai Sudirman, South Jakarta.

PERADI's long journey to maintain its existence as a single advocate organization has finally brought results. For the first time, the Indonesian Government, represented by the Minister of Law and Human Rights, Andi Mattalatta, stated that the government had no doubts about PERADI as a professional advocate organization.

Even though the Indonesian Government has recognized the existence of PERADI, prospective PERADI Advocates are still unable to become Advocates because the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia postponed the taking of the advocate oath due to the existence of other organizations claiming to be legitimate organizations. However, on June 25 2009, with Letter No.089/KMA/VI/2010, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, who witnessed the signing of the peace between PERADI and KAI, revoked the previous Chief Justice's letter.

So, in this way, PERADI's existence in Indonesia is complete, because de jure and de facto, PERADI has been accepted and recognized as an organization for advocates in the Republic of Indonesia.
