SYNOPSIS: The story idea of Airmata Di Ujung Sajadah came from producer Ronny Irawan. The film's script was written in 2017 by Titien Wattimena with assistant writers, Ummu Amalia Misbah, Muthi'ah Khairunnisa, and Key Mangunsong who continued to work until reaching draft 9 (final).

This film is also the debut for Nafa Urbach who accompanies Ronny Irawan as a film producer. Air Mata di Ujung Sajadah is a collaboration between Beehave Pictures and Multi Buana Kreasindo Productions who are committed to presenting a drama film suitable for the whole family to enjoy, by raising the topic of sacrifice, sincerity and the true meaning of family.

In a release, Key Mangunsong as the director said that this film is about the journey of possessive love that turns into liberating love; about the transformation of selfish love into altruism through a path of sacrifice full of pain and tears. Like a phoenix that burns to ashes and is born immortal, at the end of grief, true love emerges that overcomes all situations, space and time.
